Curt Johnson's minesweeper for windows has been remade, re-stylized, and soon re-energized!
This is a little project I've been working on in my free time. If this gains traction, I'll definitely add more things. Right now it's in beta.

You would need mobile controls first, but this os practically made for phones!
Also you can soft lock yourself with the miner ability
I do see the problem, and unfortunately that is a core game mechanic. However, I do think I can add something to fix this!
I fixed it! You have five seconds of invulnerability at the beginning. If you upgrade your "Miner Ability", you can get to a point where they never hit a mine.
Oh my god I love this game. The atmosphere is awesome, the sound design is perfect. Please continue working on this game.

Don't know why but first time I tried some drones, the ones that fly over the board were triggering a mine all the time. I gave up and try to erase them, but they came back sometimes... and after some levels they finally didn't blow up a mine anymore and were just working
The sound is satisfying but some things are frustrating for now (like the empty cells not revealing diagonal tiles)
